Being environmentally conscious shouldn’t be an immense undertaking. It’s the small things we do that can contribute to meaningful change. Amazon’s initiatives in large-scale device sustainability will make it that much simpler. Breaking from the more prevalent PSA-centric messaging around sustainability, my writing partner, Doree Speidel, and I crafted a charming brand film about small choices creating large impact via a whimsical, surrealist story seen through the eyes of our precocious hero—the voice of tomorrow, no less. With a teaser debuting on Earth Day followed by the full-length, the spot has amassed 22 million views on YouTube, and has aired on Hulu, NBC’s Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video.
