Making the consequences of inaction impossible to ignore.
How do you turn a distant environmental issue into something people can see—and influence—in real time?
Created for Coca-Cola in partnership with WWF, Arctic Home made participation the central mechanism of the experience. Visitors were invited to pledge their support for the cause. As pledges accumulated, the temperature inside the installation dropped and the ice began to freeze. When participation slowed, the ice melted, reflecting the consequences of inaction.
The installation gave an abstract environmental challenge a tangible, immediate expression. Instead of simply asking people to care, it made their collective involvement part of the visual story.
As Art Director, I contributed to the visual direction of an experience that connected a global issue with a simple physical interaction.
