The narrative arc of superhero films follows a simple paradigm: discover your potential; join a team of similar ilk; and rise to the occasion when you’re called upon. To revitalize McDonald’s Happy Meals for a new generation, young fans experienced an Avengers recruitment journey at participating restaurants in Chicago and New York where they engaged with gamified touchpoints in order to join the team. An interactive holographic toy display, large-scale vinyl (including some with optical illusions), and stunning Future UI (FUI) mograph on displays throughout, the takeover captured the imagination of superheroes in the making.
